Nouveau X-Wing by YamiSnuffles Nouveau X-Wing by YamiSnuffles
Apparently I was the opposite of lazy. What's that called again? Oh yes, being productive. :P

Anyways, second in a series of Art Nouveauish Star Wars ships. This time it's my second favorite ship, the T-65 X-Wing Starfighter. Luke's specifically, in this case. I think I need to do something that isn't a starfighter next, or I'm gonna get stuck in a theme. Fighters are just fun because they're more... swoopy.

Your frikin style is unlike any other that I've seen...well rounded and so intense and awesome I feel like a can touch the focus of the piece.

Luke's X-Wing, huh? You really made that clear, what with all the markings and the R2 unit that is acually R2. Great work there. As usual, your colors are a lovely contrast--awesome to see, like a 3D movie, only for this you don't need the glasses/thingys.

Now for my raving. I really like how the X-Wing has shadows on it, and it looks like Luke's battle ravaged craft. It really does. The decals shine and yet I can see the markings of battle. Nicely done. Love the way it's swooping and the look of the fiery stuff coming out of the thrusters...wow. I really like the shadowed thing in the cockpit--looks pretty frikin real, and I don't see stuff like that often. As for R2, you did a fine job portraying him. Again, nicely done.

I was lucky enough to find some shots online of a model of Luke's X-Wing. It was a little hard to see all the details in any picture I found, so I sort of guessed sometimes.

As far as battle ravaged, I always remember my husband saying one of his favorite things about SW ships was how dirty they were. Especially with the rebel ships, I thought that was important to preserve.

Yeah, that is indeed an important element. The rebels had a lot of junk, makeshift stuff. I liked them for that.

Hmm, an interesting idea. Although a whole deck would probably require more concentration powers than an easily distractable person such as myself has, haha.
